Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Gym Manager to lead our fitness facility with enthusiasm and expertise. Your leadership will drive the success of the gym by managing staff, coordinating events, and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise gym staff, including trainers and administrative personnel, to deliver outstanding service and maintain high team morale. Oversee daily operations, including shift management, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Develop and execute engaging fitness events and programs to attract new members and retain existing ones. Manage guest services by addressing member inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all visitors. Handle operational management tasks such as budgeting, cash handling, inventory control, and report writing to support smooth facility functioning. Coordinate with external vendors or event venues for special events or promotions that enhance member engagement. Implement policies related to health & safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to guarantee member safety at all times. Requirements Proven experience in gym or fitness center management with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong background in events management, hospitality, or resort experience preferred. Excellent team management skills with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing, scheduling, and communication purposes. Knowledge of operational management practices including budgeting, cash handling, and guest services. Ability to make sound managerial decisions quickly while maintaining a positive team atmosphere. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and community building. Experience in managing shift operations effectively while supervising staff performance. Technical proficiency related to gym equipment maintenance or facility operations is advantageous. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional health & safety qualifications are a plus.
