This is a full-time leadership position for someone who loves gymnastics, enjoys developing both athletes and coaches, and is ready to take ownership of a growing recreational program. The Recreational Gymnastics Manager will oversee approximately 10-15 recreation employees while remaining actively involved in coaching. The ideal candidate will be an experienced gymnastics coach who is comfortable teaching preschool through all levels of girls recreational gymnastics and is ready to take the next step into program management and leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Development Oversee the day-to-day operation of ZnZ's recreational gymnastics program. Monitor enrollment, class capacity, retention, and waitlists. Identify opportunities to add, adjust, or expand classes based on enrollment and demand. Work with management to promote continued growth of the recreational program. Collaborate with team head coaches and management to develop and implement new classes, curriculum, programs, and training methods. Help oversee athlete progression throughout the recreational program. Assist with recreation-related special events, open gyms, showcases, and other programs as needed. Coaching & Athlete Development Have the knowledge and ability to coach all levels of ZnZ's recreational girls gymnastics program, including preschool gymnastics. Create and maintain weekly lesson plans. Oversee athlete skill tracking and skill check-offs. Conduct student evaluations. Communicate with parents regarding athlete progress and placement when necessary. Collaborate with team head coaches on athlete advancement and the move-up process. Help ensure consistency in coaching standards and curriculum throughout the recreational program. Provide coaching coverage when necessary. Staff Leadership Supervise approximately 10-15 recreational gymnastics employees. Create and maintain recreation staff schedules. Recruit and assist with the onboarding of new recreation coaches. Train and develop recreational coaching staff. Conduct employee performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback. Address staff performance concerns and participate in disciplinary conversations when necessary. Attend and lead monthly staff training sessions. Help create a positive, professional, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Events & Showcases Collaborate with team head coaches to organize and execute two recreational showcases each year—one in the fall and one in the spring. Assist with other ZnZ Gymnastics Center events and programs as needed. Administrative Responsibilities Utilize Jackrabbit Class software for enrollment, rosters, attendance, evaluations, scheduling, class management, and other administrative responsibilities. Monitor class enrollment and recommend schedule adjustments based on program needs. Assist with parent questions, concerns, and program-related communication. Maintain organized and accurate program records.

Required Qualifications Candidates must:

Be 21 years of age or older . Have previous gymnastics coaching experience . Be capable of coaching preschool gymnastics through all levels of girls recreational gymnastics. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate leadership, organization, dependability, and professionalism. Be comfortable supervising, training, and providing feedback to employees. Work effectively as part of a management and coaching team. Be comfortable communicating professionally with parents. Be willing and able to learn and regularly use Jackrabbit Class software. Be physically capable of actively coaching gymnastics, including spotting athletes, moving equipment, standing for extended periods, and performing other duties associated with gymnastics instruction. Successfully complete all required background checks and obtain and maintain required certifications and memberships, including CPR/First Aid, USA Gymnastics membership, SafeSport training, and applicable USA Gymnastics certifications . Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supervising or managing employees. Experience developing gymnastics lesson plans and curriculum. Experience conducting athlete evaluations. Experience training and mentoring gymnastics coaches. Experience with Jackrabbit Class or similar class-management software. College degree or relevant post-secondary education. A degree is helpful but not required . Required Coaching Availability This position offers flexibility when scheduling administrative hours; however, applicants must be available to coach and oversee the recreational program during the following core hours:

Monday-Thursday:

3:30-8:30

PM Friday:

3:30-7:30

PM Saturday:

8:30 AM-1:00

PM Sunday:

One 1-hour staff training per month Saturday availability is an important part of this position, and the selected candidate should expect to work most Saturdays. The complete position will generally consist of 32-40 hours per week , Monday through Saturday, with flexibility for administrative hours outside of required coaching times. Compensation & Benefits $36,000-$40,000 annual salary , based on experience and qualifications. Position Structure The Recreational Gymnastics Manager reports directly to the Owner/Gym Manager and works closely with ZnZ's team head coaches and management staff. This is not strictly an administrative position. The Recreational Gymnastics Manager will be expected to maintain an active presence on the gym floor, coach athletes, mentor staff, communicate with families, and lead the recreational program by example.
