Alloy Personal Training Studio Director Full-Time | East Brunswick, NJ About the Opportunity Alloy Personal Training East Brunswick is seeking a Founding Studio Director to lead the launch of our new studio and drive membership growth from day one. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for an experienced fitness professional who wants to take ownership of building a successful business, developing a high-performing coaching team, and creating an exceptional member experience. The Studio Director will be responsible for building the member base, leading sales consultations, coaching members, developing the coaching team, managing daily operations, and driving the overall success of the studio. This is not a passive management role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable generating leads, conducting sales consultations, building community relationships, coaching on the training floor, developing coaches, and owning business results. Role Structure & Time Commitment This is a full-time, approximately 40-hour-per-week leadership position . The Studio Director's primary responsibility is to drive the growth and success of the business , with the role structured approximately as follows: 70% Sales & Business Development — lead generation, consultations, follow-up, closing memberships, community outreach, partnerships, member retention, and business development. 30% Training & Studio Leadership — coaching members, supporting the training floor, developing coaches, overseeing studio operations, and ensuring an exceptional member experience. Training floor coverage will be provided as needed based on member demand, coach schedules, studio needs, and peak training hours. The ideal candidate understands that the primary focus of the Director position is building the business and leading the team , while remaining actively involved in the training experience. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Drive membership growth through lead generation, consultations, follow-up, and closing new memberships. Conduct all new member consultations, including goal assessments, movement screenings, fitness evaluations, and membership recommendations. Build relationships with prospective members and convert leads into long-term clients. Develop local partnerships, community relationships, and outreach opportunities to increase brand awareness. Track and analyze key performance indicators including: Lead volume Appointment booking rate Show rate Consultation close rate Membership growth Member retention Revenue performance Achieve membership, revenue, and utilization targets. Participate in community events and marketing initiatives to grow the studio. Develop and execute strategies to consistently generate new leads and memberships. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and leads throughout the sales process. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, train, and develop exceptional personal trainers. Build a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture. Lead weekly team meetings focused on coaching standards, scheduling, performance metrics, and studio goals. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development for trainers. Conduct performance evaluations and help team members improve professionally. Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, accountability, and strong work ethic. Hold the coaching team accountable to performance and service standards. Training & Member Experience Coach individual and small-group personal training sessions. Deliver the Alloy Personal Training experience with energy, professionalism, and attention to detail. Maintain a strong understanding of Alloy programming and coaching standards. Step in to support coaching sessions and provide floor coverage as needed . Ensure members receive exceptional service, achieve results, and remain engaged. Build strong relationships with members and create a welcoming, motivating studio environment. Studio Operations Oversee daily studio operations in alignment with Alloy brand standards. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming environment. Ensure health, safety, and operational procedures are followed. Manage scheduling, staffing needs, and daily studio execution. Monitor expenses and assist ownership with budget accountability. Be present during peak training hours to support members and coaches. Ensure the studio consistently operates at a high professional standard. Key Performance Expectations This is a KPI-driven leadership role .
