Job description: We are a growing boutique fitness studio focused on creating an exceptional experience for every client who walks through our doors. We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and people-oriented Studio Director to lead our day-to-day operations, support our team, drive membership growth, and help foster the warm, welcoming community that we are known for. Position Overview The Studio Director will be responsible for overseeing studio operations, leading client engagement initiatives, supporting instructors and staff, driving membership sales, and ensuring every client has an outstanding experience. This role is ideal for someone with a fitness industry background, strong sales experience, exceptional social skills, and a genuine passion for building relationships and creating a positive studio culture. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio Lead membership sales and retention efforts Conduct studio tours and convert leads into members Build relationships with members and create a welcoming community atmosphere Ensure exceptional customer service at all times Support, motivate, and manage front desk staff and instructors Handle scheduling, instructor coverage, and operational needs Monitor studio performance and membership growth goals Plan and assist with events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives Respond to client inquiries, reviews, and concerns promptly and professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment Help develop strategies to increase memberships, referrals, and client engagement Qualifications Fitness industry experience required (Pilates, fitness studio, gym, wellness, boutique fitness, or related field) Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Natural ability to connect with people and build relationships Strong leadership and team management skills Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Comfortable working evenings and occasional weekends as needed Experience with Mindbody or similar studio management software is a plus What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Loves fitness and wellness Has a positive, upbeat personality Can inspire both clients and staff Thrives in a fast-paced environment Is highly social and enjoys building a strong community Understands that great service and strong relationships drive business growth Takes ownership and treats the studio as if it were their own
