ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service toward pool users. Opens pool facilities including removing and replacing pool covers, if any. Responsible for the security of the pool area (i.e. lock doors, etc). Ensures pool equipment is in proper working order and in its place prior to opening the facility. Attentively monitors the pool area for accidents in or out of the water, hazards, debris and trash. Supervise all patrons in and around the pool area. Responsible for the safety of all participants in and about the pool area. Able to make sound judgments in an emergency situation. Able to make sound judgments and decisions involving rules to the pool. Aware and knowledgeable of emergency procedures; including completion of proper documentation. Enforces all pool rules and regulations. Maintains a safe and clean swimming environment for pool patrons. Ability to initiate and create friendly relationships with pool patrons, guests and staff. Directs the patrolling of the pool and the enforcement of rules and regulations. Oversees the maintenance of the swimming pool.
