Activities Manager Job Type:

Full Time Job Description :

Responsible for developing and delivering" life enriching" activity programming to our senior residents. This manager must develop a broad variety of stimulating activities that address their social, cognitive, spiritual and physical needs. Our Life Enrichment Manager is the heart and soul of our community.

He / She

is the source of all things fun, interesting and entertaining! Must be high-energy, compassionate, creative and patient.

Non-Management Position :

No direct reports

Critical Job Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain resident interest profiles. Research, plan and execute themed activities each month. Coordinate external entertainment and volunteer involvement. Communicate all planned activities to residents (calendar, bulletin board etc) Maintain records of all resident participation Welcome and orient all new residents. Collaborate with foo service, marketing and care staff to ensure special events / functions run flawlessly. Budget Management Transportation as needed to resident medical appointments.

Certifications:

None required. Just ability to execute all of the above Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required. Salary commensurate with experience level.
