The Program Director will interact with employees, management, members, and other business associates in an outgoing, courteous manner while performing various administrative, support, and specialty duties related to the efficient operation of YMCA pools. The ideal candidate, with direct reports, will be responsible in the following areas:

Bachelor's degree in business management, a related field. or equivalent work experience preferred Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities Two or more years of experience in supervising or directing programs as a program and/or center director preferred Adaptable, flexible, and enjoys variety in your work environment including periodic weekends and non-business hour workdays Serve as a leader in the Annual Giving campaign and other fundraising initiatives Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations Must possess a valid Texas Drivers' License and valid insurance American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or YMCA Lifeguard Instructor certifications required American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer or YMCA Lifeguard Trainer required Water Safety Instructor or YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor preferred Must pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check
