Job Description

Teaching Artist & Youth Theatre Director Opportunities in DFW Part-Time Positions available North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) is seeking Teaching Artists for our Grapevine location who are passionate about youth theatre and working within a collaborative arts organization. We are seeking adjunct directors and theater teachers as well as voice and acting coaches. Teaching & Creative Opportunities Qualified candidates may be considered for one or more of the following: Directing, choreography, or music direction for youth productions Youth theatre camps and after-school programs Workshops and private lessons Ideal Candidates Preferably 3+ years experience teaching or working with children and teens (grades K-12) in a classroom setting Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Ability to manage 20+ students at one time Capable of creating and executing lesson plans Ability to work evenings and weekends for shows and rehearsals A collaborative mindset and commitment to positive youth development Reliable transportation (and willingness to work in the Southlake/Grapevine area) Ability to be physically present, as needed or requested, to perform essential duties
Experience/Education:
Minimum 1 year of experience in an Arts Education environment is required Bachelor's Degree or Drama Teacher Certification required Join a team where your artistry, leadership, and love for youth theatre can grow into a career.
Pay:
$20,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
