Aquatics Lead

As our new Aquatics Lead your purpose will be to help us create a fun yet professional environment, providing our customers and their children with a great learning experience. You'll work closely with the franchise owner and our swim instructors to help shape our school's culture and commitment to running a smooth operation. You'll also play a big role in helping bring more customers to the school and keeping them coming back. This is a part-time position eventually moving to a full-time commitment. You will need to work flexible hours, including a regular weekend day and evenings. You will also need to be able to travel locally in the greater Anaheim area to visit our pools.

Your responsibilities will include:

Teaching the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults as needed, includes special needs/adaptive aquatics Managing Swim Instructors at multiple pool locations as needed on varying days and hours Engaging with parents on deck, articulating student progress and areas for improvement Providing the initial training in the BSS swim method and the ongoing development of all our swim teachers Using BSS Instructor assessment and development tools/checklists to maintain lesson quality Evaluating swim instructor performance and creating performance improvement plans as necessary Offering guidance and support when managing difficult class situations Returning lead calls - some phone call handling - bilingual Helpful Reports to Aquatics Manager Join our swim school team and be a real-life superhero! A great personality with a desire to work with kids in a fun environment while teaching survival skills Experience working with children and a passion for our mission of water safety and survival At least 1 years of experience leading a team Experience with setting and maintaining standards for a service business - especially if its child related Bilingual If you can offer us all of the above, then in return we'll give you training on the best swim program in the business, along with a competitive compensation package.
