The City of Pleasanton is seeking friendly, detail-oriented team member to join our aquatics team as a Recreation Leader II - Aquatics Cashier , supporting front desk operations at the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center . Working at the front desk, you'll be the welcoming first point of contact for our aquatics patrons—helping the community register for programs, answering questions, processing payments, and supporting safe facility operations. We're Looking for Someone Who Is Customer service-focused and comfortable working with the public at a busy front desk. Able to learn and accurately use the City's computerized registration software . Confident handling payments and operating a cash register and credit card terminal . A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills with patrons, coworkers, and supervisors. Familiar with (or eager to learn) aquatics programs and basic aquatics facility operations. In This Role, You Will Process registration requests using the City's computerized registration software system. Receive and record payments for program fees. Check in program participants prior to scheduled activities. Respond to program-related questions from the public (e.g., swim lesson levels, lap swim, water exercise). Participate in the facility Emergency Action Plan (EAP) system during emergencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
