Job Description

Job Summary:
The Discovery Lounge, INC, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as after-school group leaders for grades K-5. As a group leader, you will play a crucial role in providing homework help and enrichment activities and fostering a passion for learning in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children in grades K-5 during after-school hours. Provide hands-on homework assistance and academic support. Plan and implement enrichment activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and physical activity. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Monitor and maintain a clean and organized program space. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns. Uphold all policies and procedures of The Discovery Lounge, INC.
Qualifications:
Passion for working with children and supporting their academic and personal growth. Previous experience in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities for children. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to the well-being of our students.
Work Hours:
Monday to Thursday 2:30pm-6:00pm and Friday 11:30am-6:00pm (Must be able to work schedule)

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
