Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Kids Club Supervisor to lead engaging, safe, and enriching activities for children of various ages. In this role, you will oversee daily operations within the kids' activity area, ensuring a welcoming environment that promotes childhood development, fun, and safety. Your leadership will inspire a team of caregivers and activity leaders to deliver exceptional experiences for children and peace of mind for parents. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities for children, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age kids, ensuring all activities are age-appropriate and engaging. Lead activity planning sessions that incorporate educational games, creative arts, physical play, and developmental exercises aligned with early childhood education standards. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by implementing proper supervision protocols, behavior management strategies, and emergency procedures. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's participation, progress, and any concerns that arise during their visit. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare; document incidents accurately and promptly when necessary. Train and support team members in childcare best practices, including first aid, CPR certification requirements, and inclusive care for children with disabilities. Conduct regular safety checks of the activity area, equipment, and supplies to uphold health standards and prevent accidents. Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Proven ability to plan engaging activities tailored to different developmental stages while adhering to childhood education principles. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education practices. Certified in first aid and CPR; familiar with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration; ability to foster a positive environment for children and staff alike. Prior experience in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or youth program teaching roles is preferred; classroom or daycare experience is highly valued.
