Golf Bag Staff Supervisor Ridglea Country Club - 3.1 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description The Golf Bag Staff Supervisor is responsible for serving the members and guests of Ridglea Country Club and to execute the duties and responsibilities of the Outside Golf Operation as well as overseeing the operational execution of the Bag Staff team. The Golf Bag Staff is the "first line of service" when members and guests arrive at the club.
Supervised By:
Head Golf Professional Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to: Staff should be on time for shift and ready to work 5 minutes prior to shift starting. Be the outside service specialist for the facility. Promote the facility programs, events, and image to members at all times. Provide welcoming "first contact" with each member or guest and ensure they have an enjoyable experience. Check with the golf shop for any unusual or special instructions. Communicate with the golf shop on a regular basis. Keep work area neat and clean at all times. Assist in keeping the course and areas around the clubhouse clean, and call attention to the golf shop of any maintenance issues needing addressing. Assist other outside staff as needed. Oversee opening and/or closing procedures to ensure complete and consistent execution as defined in SOP's. Report any performance concerns or issues directly to Head Golf Professional. Train newly hired bag staff to ensure knowledge of all outside operations procedures. Be responsible for all areas related to the Outside Services Operation. Bag Drop/Parking Lot Ensure Bag Drop/Parking Lot are covered at all times to ensure no one is left out when they arrive on property. Rover Keep carts stocked in cart staging area at all times. Assist members whenever possible. Cover bag drop/parking lot when needed. Assist with driving range when needed. Driving Range Ensure range balls stocked at all times. Ensure pyramids and bag stands neat and hitting deck clean at all times. Ensure chipping greens clear of balls at all times. Knowledge, Skills and Traits Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees. Excellent oral communication skills Self-motivated with potential desire to be promoted. Service and member focused attitude. Enthusiastic, outgoing attitude and personality, patient and non-combative Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing. Dedicated to improving their own skills and knowledge as well as those of the other team members. Lead the bag staff team while also being a team player Energetic and professional Standing or walking for long periods of time may be required. Position requires full attendance of scheduled hours.
