Position Overview:
The Operation Leadis the heart and soul of our Fort Worth facility. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines daily operations, membership sales, and community programming into one central leadership position. You won't just be managing a building; you'll be cultivating a community. We are looking for someone who finds genuine fulfillment in building relationships, creating a welcoming environment, and seeing players improve and connect on the courts. If you are a "people person" who loves pickleball and wants to take ownership of a local club, this is the perfect fit.
Compensation & Structure :
We believe in aligning our success with yours. Compensation for this role is highly flexible and will be structured collaboratively during the hiring process to best fit the right candidate.
Options include:
A reliable hourly rate (starting at $15/hour) for steady income. A massive profit-sharing arrangement (with no hourly base) for an entrepreneurial leader who wants to directly benefit from the club's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Operation Lead, you will wear many hats to ensure the facility runs smoothly and the community thrives.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Community & Programming:
Design and run a consistent calendar of leagues, open play sessions, and social events that keep our courts active and our players engaged.
Daily Operations:
Oversee all facility functions, from opening and closing procedures to ensuring the courts and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Membership & Sales:
Act as the face of the club to new visitors, driving membership sign-ups, court rentals, and event participation through excellent customer service.
Player Experience:
Build genuine relationships with our members, gather feedback, and continuously look for small ways to improve their time at the club.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a store or club manager, with experience in the sports or recreation industry strongly preferred. We are looking for the "just right" fit: someone who is reliable, organized, and deeply passionate about the pickleball and tennis community. You should have a strong understanding of the game and a natural ability to connect with people of all ages and skill levels. Prior experience in customer service, recreation management, or local community organizing is a plus. Most importantly, you must be a self-starter who takes pride in their work and finds emotional reward in building a positive, active community space.
