Job Description

Bank Independent Stadium | University of North Alabama Become part of the team behind the game day experience at the University of North Alabama's new Bank Independent Stadium. We are seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-focused individuals who are passionate about hospitality and take pride in creating memorable experiences for Lions fans, student-athletes, alumni, and visitors. Whether serving guests by providing premium hospitality in the Victory Club and suites, every Game Day Event Staff member plays an important role in delivering the high level of service and Southern hospitality that defines the UNA experience. Game day event staff will perform all duties as assigned, within reasonable expectations of a part-time, temporary event staff role.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Work will be fast-paced and will include extended periods of standing/walking and exposure to varying weather conditions. Work may require interaction with large crowds in cramped spaces and will require the ability to remain calm and courteous during busy times and events. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma/equivalent is required. Successful candidates will demonstrate previous experience in hospitality, customer service, food service, and/or event operations. Previous experience as listed is preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
A positive attitude and a passion for serving others. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, as requested. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds; Concession Stand Runners may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of customers, including administrators, faculty, staff, students, prospective students, former students, alumni, parents, and the general public.
