Job Description
Event Manager Hoover, AL Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm Office-based | Permanent position Great events don't happen by accident. They take strong organization, clear communication, and someone who can keep all the details moving in the right direction. We're looking for an Event Manager to coordinate and oversee the planning of events from our Hoover office. You'll work across schedules, suppliers, clients, materials, and internal teams to make sure event requirements are organized and delivered as planned. This role would suit someone who is organized, confident communicating with different people, and comfortable taking ownership of multiple event requirements at the same time. Day to Day Plan and coordinate event schedules, timelines, and requirements Communicate with clients, suppliers, venues, and internal teams Coordinate event materials, equipment, and logistical arrangements Track bookings, deadlines, deliveries, and outstanding requirements Organize event documentation, briefs, schedules, and checklists Coordinate setup requirements and event-day logistics Monitor event progress and communicate changes to relevant teams Follow up with suppliers and partners to ensure requirements are completed Manage routine event issues and coordinate appropriate solutions Assist with event budgets, expenses, and resource planning Complete post-event records, reports, and follow-up Identify opportunities to improve future events and processes What's Important You'll need strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and event requirements. Previous event management, event coordination, hospitality, operations, project management, or related experience is preferred. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of events, communicate professionally with different stakeholders, stay organized when plans change, and follow tasks through from planning to completion. Experience with event scheduling, supplier coordination, budgets, project management tools, or event documentation is helpful. Pay:
