Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant community as an Event Coordinator dedicated to enriching the lives of residents aged 55 and older! In this dynamic role, you will design, organize, and lead engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including social events, outings, arts and crafts, fitness classes, and memory care programs Develop engaging programs that support cognitive health, physical activity, and emotional well-being for residents with varying needs such as dementia or disabilities Build strong rapport with residents by understanding their preferences, histories, and individual care requirements to personalize activities effectively Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of programs while maintaining flexibility for spontaneous resident needs Maintain detailed records of participation, resident feedback, and program outcomes to continually improve activity offerings Skills Proven experience in event planning, recreational therapy, or senior activity coordination within assisted living or long-term care settings Excellent communication skills for engaging residents with diverse backgrounds and abilities while fostering positive relationships Ability to develop innovative programs that promote socialization and mental stimulation for seniors with disabilities or memory impairments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling, documentation, and communication purposes Experience working with residents at a senior living facilities/Community is highly preferred Demonstrated leadership skills in team settings with the ability to coordinate resident events seamlessly Knowledge of assisted living regulations and best practices in senior care environments Join us in creating a lively community where every resident feels empowered to enjoy their golden years! Job Type:

Full-time/30 hrs a week

Pay:

$22.00 - $25 per hour depending on experience
