The Event Manager is responsible for developing, selling, planning, and executing exceptional events at Storyland. This is a full-time, hands-on position for someone who is creative, highly organized, sales-minded, and passionate about creating memorable experiences. Manage all birthday parties from initial inquiry through event completion. Develop creative birthday packages with catering, balloons, decorations, entertainment, cakes, rentals, and special experiences. Grow Storyland as a venue for weddings, receptions, celebrations, and private events. Develop and sell corporate park buyouts, employee appreciation events, company family days, and holiday events. Build relationships with caterers, balloon companies, rental companies, DJs, photographers, entertainers, and other vendors. Coordinate tables, chairs, linens, food, decorations, setup, staffing, and cleanup. Create and help develop flyers, event packages, promotional materials, and social-media content. Conduct venue tours, respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, follow up with prospects, and close event sales. Bring new ideas to Storyland and continually develop experiences that make the park a unique Fresno event destination. Deliver outstanding customer service with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Track inquiries, bookings, event revenue, customer satisfaction, and opportunities for additional sales. Be available for evenings and weekends when events require it.

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
