is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Manager, Events to build and lead our U.S. Events function during an exciting period of rapid growth. This is a rare opportunity to create a department from the ground up. You will define the strategy, processes, vendor partnerships, and operational framework that will support flagship store openings, IP launches, pop-up experiences, exhibitions, community events, and national brand activations across the United States. The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and an exceptional operator, someone who enjoys building scalable programs while remaining hands-on in execution. What you will achieve:
Build the U.S. Events Function Develop and execute POP MART's U.S. events strategy aligned with retail, marketing, and business objectives. Establish scalable frameworks for event planning, approvals, budgeting, vendor management, and execution. Define event categories and standards for flagship openings, pop-up stores, exhibitions, IP launches, community events, and special brand activations. Create annual event roadmaps, planning calendars, and operational playbooks. Lead Event Execution Own end-to-end planning and execution of retail grand openings, experiential activations, pop-up events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns. Oversee project timelines, production schedules, logistics, staffing, and on-site execution. Manage external agencies, production companies, creative partners, contractors, and event vendors. Ensure every event delivers exceptional customer experience while reinforcing the
POP MART
brand. Drive Operational Excellence Develop standardized project management tools, workflows, and reporting processes. Build and manage event budgets while maintaining cost controls and financial accountability. Establish vendor partnerships across multiple U.S. regions to support rapid expansion. Ensure compliance with local regulations, venue requirements, mall policies, permitting, and safety standards. Develop reporting that measures event performance, attendance, customer engagement, sales impact, and ROI. Collaborate Across the Business Partner closely with Retail Operations, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Store Development, Facilities, and global headquarters. Translate global brand initiatives into locally relevant and operationally successful experiences. Support store teams with event planning guidance, operational standards, and execution training. Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional event planning and execution. Build for the Future Evaluate organizational needs as the events function grows. Recruit, mentor, and develop future event team members. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Event Management, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of experience leading retail events, experiential marketing, brand activations, or large-scale event operations. Proven experience building, scaling, or transforming an events function or program. Demonstrated success managing multi-location retail activations or national event programs. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and overseeing external partners. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities. Willingness to travel domestically as business needs require.

Must be able to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. Pay Range Details The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 annually. This range is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws and may vary based on geographic location. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications. This position may also be eligible to participate in the Company's incentive compensation program. Background Checks For applicants located in
