Non-Exempt Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining and assisting with the execution of all events including winery events, corporate events and social events that are implemented by Michael David Winery. Acting as an ambassador for all events, providing exceptional customer service in a consistent, timely and professional manner with all customers, vendors, and partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Unload equipment from trucks and set up venues for events, including tables, chairs, and other event materials. Serve as an usher and ensure that seating arrangements adhere to fire code regulations. Working under the instruction of the DTC Manager & Event Supervisor. Ensuring excellent levels of customer service. Facilitating the proper organization and cleanliness of events. Setting up lighting and sound equipment. Supporting the DTC Manager & Event Supervisor with logistics and administrative support. Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list. Providing information to guests regarding events and winery activities. Coordinate with event staff to ensure all event-related tasks are completed on time. Packing up equipment when the event is completed.

Education/Experience:
High School or equivalent work experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with guests, vendors, coworkers, and management in a professional manner. Ability to read and understand written instructions and event-related materials. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, apply percentage discounts.
Computer Skills and Software:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer skills, including proficiency with internet navigation, and common business software applications.
