Now we need some new staff to join our seasoned team to ensure that our wine is flowing, our brand is growing, & our customers remain as pleased as always! We are looking to hire a solid, dependable team of staff to dazzle our customers when they reserve our venue to host their events. This position is perfect for anyone who enjoys providing high-quality customer service, a refreshing outdoor workspace, & a flexible schedule with options for hours every day of the week! Here are some of our key candidate traits & skills: Available & willing to help with events from start to finish, including furniture preparations, clean-up, dishwashing, emptying trash bins, restocking supplies, etc. Willing & able to learn the history of our vineyard & winery! While previous knowledge about wine & winemaking is not required, candidates should be eager to learn. Previous experience using a cash register or Point-of-Sale app/system, as well as handling refunds. Ability to create a welcoming guest environment. Our team goes above & beyond to ensure that we are creating an "event experience" by always engaging with our customers. Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment while meeting customer & team requests, as well as remain composed when requests change. Punctuality! Timeliness is a key factor for our guests AND our team. Willing to learn & diligently practice our Sanitizing & COVID-19 Protocols & Safety Procedures. Essential Skills, Background, & Qualifications :

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Outstanding customer service skills, poise, & tact. Professional appearance & demeanor. Fluent verbal & written English communications skills. Conversational comprehension of other languages is a plus! Previous Winery Tasting Room experience isn't required, but it's a plus! Able to take & pass TIPS (or other) Alcohol Certification course. Previous wine education (WSET, CMS, CWS) is an even bigger plus!

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and/or move 30-50 pounds repeatedly. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (~4-5 hrs). Ability to work in warm weather and direct sunlight. This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate. Additional compensation includes shared tips with fellow shift Event Staff as well as the bonus reward(s) when the team meets its Sales Goals!
