Job Description

Event Venue Support Staff - "All Hands" Team Member Position Overview Miezto Weddings and Events is seeking a dependable, hardworking Event Venue Support Team Member to join our team for weddings and special events. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that plays an important role in preparing the venue, supporting events throughout the day, and helping ensure our spaces remain clean, organized, and guest-ready. This is an active, physical role for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in the details, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain ceremony, cocktail, reception, bridal, groom, and guest areas Set up and move tables, chairs, patio furniture, umbrellas, and other event equipment Clean, organize, and prepare event spaces before guest arrival Assist with guest arrival and directions as needed Help transition or "flip" event spaces between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception Support the Venue Director, Event Coordinator, bartenders, and event team throughout the event Buss tables, remove trash, address spills, and maintain venue cleanliness during events Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, and end-of-night closing duties Prepare spaces for upcoming events when applicable Complete additional event or venue-related tasks as directed by management What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently Positive attitude and strong team mentality Comfortable taking direction and adapting as event needs change Detail-oriented with a strong sense of cleanliness and presentation Comfortable interacting professionally with guests and event vendors Able to work independently while also supporting the larger event team Hospitality, event, restaurant, or venue experience is a plus, but not required Physical & Work Environment Requirements This is an active, hands-on position that requires regular physical activity throughout the shift.
Team members must be comfortable:
Standing and walking for extended periods Bending, reaching, cleaning, sweeping, and performing general venue upkeep Moving tables, chairs, furniture, supplies, and event equipment Lifting and carrying at least 50 lbs Working both indoors and outdoors for extended periods Working in changing and sometimes unpredictable weather conditions, including extreme heat, direct sun, wind, cooler temperatures, and other outdoor elements Remaining active and productive throughout the shift while maintaining a professional and guest-ready presence Because many of our event spaces are outdoors, applicants should be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and understand that outdoor conditions may change throughout the day. Schedule & Availability This is an event-based position , so schedules will vary based on our event calendar. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and later-night closing shifts . Weekend availability and schedule flexibility are important for this role. Compensation $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience
