Position Overview Event Staff play an important role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and well-organized environment throughout the guest journey. Working in a variety of front-of-house positions, team members help ensure that every guest feels guided, supported, and valued from arrival to departure. This is a hands-on role that combines hospitality, attentiveness, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and assist with ticket support, and ushering/seating guidance Provide thoughtful and courteous guest service, including answering questions and offering clear directions Assist with ticketing inquiries and help resolve concerns with care and professionalism Monitor exhibit spaces to ensure steady guest flow and a comfortable environment Help maintain a calm, respectful atmosphere within the venue Observe and report any safety concerns to supervisors Support team members and contribute positively to daily operations Assist with additional duties as needed to ensure a successful event Qualifications & Experience At least 1 year of direct experience in customer service, hospitality, community events, or retail is an asset Comfort using POS or ticketing systems (training provided) Friendly, composed, and approachable presence Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly to individuals and small groups Bilingual (English plus another language) considered an asset Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a shift Schedule & Availability Primarily part-time hours Evening and weekend availability is required All performances and events take place in the evening Must be available on weekends and holidays during the exhibit run Compensation $18.00 per hour Work location: Saint John's Cathedral, Denver, Colorado 80203 Celestia is an equal opportunity employer.
