We are members of the New England Collegiate Baseball league, and play a 22 home game season out of historic Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut. Since the organization's conception in 2015, we have achieved 3 championship appearances, 5 semi-final appearances and 2 quarter final appearances. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, affordable night out for fans of all ages paired with high quality baseball. This position is an internship - but you will receive a $500 stipend. We encourage you to utilize this opportunity to fulfill any college requirements. Housing is not available through the organization. The opportunity is from the beginning of March to the middle of August. It will be a remote position from March 1st to May 15th. Remote tasks will likely take 3-5 hours per week to complete. Responsibilities (shared between two individuals) Work with the General Manager to ensure all logistics for the Bristol Blues events and games are executed. Manage staffing schedule for all home games. Assist the Director of Sponsorship with planning and executing the Bristol Blues golf tournament. Oversee merchandise inventory. Manage bookings of all group outings and parties. Assist organization to execute all promotional nights. Oversee all Blues player community events Oversee roster management and eligibility for all incoming players - including uniform distribution. Assist the General Manager create and implement a promotional schedule for all 22 home games.
Qualifications seeking:
Strong work ethic with a self starter attitude. Must be able to work independently on projects. Must be pursuing or hold a bachelor's degree. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members and community members. Ability to attend all Bristol Blues home games. Knowledge of Google platform services such as Docs, Sheets, and Forms. Interest in event management.
