Coordinate with vendors, contractors, caterers, and venue staff to ensure seamless execution of design elements. Upselling additional services or enhancements to maximize client satisfaction. Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track project progress, client communications, and logistics details. Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all design components are implemented accurately and efficiently. Lead a team of event staff or vendors when necessary to maintain high standards of service and presentation. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally throughout the planning process. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while managing catering arrangements, guest services, and technical setups. Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for planning documents and presentations. Proven experience in event planning, management software and CRM systems for client tracking. Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with vendors and suppliers. Skilled in upselling additional services or upgrades that enhance the overall event experience. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Deep understanding of hospitality industry standards including banquet operations, catering logistics, and guest services. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Creative flair combined with technical proficiency in lighting design, decor selection, and layout planning. Leadership qualities necessary for managing teams or coordinating multiple vendors during high-pressure situations.
