About:
Carnaby and Oak, part of the Carnaby network of clubs, is a modern day family members' club. A place to play, learn, connect and belong. We are a design-forward place where kids can play, learn, and explore, and parents can relax, connect, and work. Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end execution of events at our Gainesville Location. This role requires strong negotiation skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Event Coordinator will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that every event is executed flawlessly. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, and guest services. Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors and collaborate with internal teams to secure the best services and execute the event per client needs Develop event marketing strategies to promote events effectively. Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked accurately. Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience. Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after events to ensure client satisfaction. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably with a hotel or social club. Children-focused event experience a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to create exceptional visual decor, or willingness to learn Knowledge of event marketing strategies and best practices. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Job Types:
Part-time, Contract Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
