Position Summary The Events & Stewardship Coordinator is a key member of our Advancement Department, providing administrative and relational support to ensure the success of fundraising and donor engagement events. This role oversees logistics for advancement-led events, church partnerships, and community engagement opportunities, helping every touchpoint inspire generosity and advance our mission while maintaining relationships with our donors.
Direct Supervisor:
Director of Advancement What You'll Do Event Coordination & Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute organizational events including the Benefit Dinner, Walk for Life, Pastor Appreciation events, New Donor Open Houses, Prayer Events, and more Develop event concepts, timelines, logistics, guest experiences, sponsorship fulfillment, and volunteer coordination Manage planning committees and standard operating procedures for hosted events Recruit and manage day-of volunteers and committees Church & Volunteer Partnerships Build relationships with congregational leaders and volunteer teams (Heroes for Life) Serve as liaison for women's church leadership groups and volunteer committees Coordinate the community calendar, including scheduling and follow-up with church and volunteer partners Collaborate with Director of Church Partnerships for opportunities to grow events and reach more donors Donor Engagement & Follow-Up Manage monthly donor touchpoints (thank-you cards, emails) Support sponsorship renewals and volunteer commitments Coordinate post-event follow-up with attendees, sponsors, and volunteers Track donor and community interactions in the CRM/database Any other tasks assigned by leadership that benefits the success of the mission and fits the needs of the team. What We're Looking For Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail Event planning experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Experience with Canva, Adobe, or Publisher preferred CRM/database experience preferred Fundraising event planning experience preferred Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
