Part-time and event-based Kids Point is a private children's event venue specializing in creative birthday parties, painting activities, music, games, and interactive entertainment. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic person to help our team create fun and memorable experiences for children and their families. Schedule Primarily weekend work Occasional weekday shifts Additional availability during school holidays Most shifts are approximately 4 to 8 hours Weekend shifts may be in the morning or afternoon Hours will vary based on event bookings Responsibilities Help prepare the studio before parties and events Set up tables, decorations, art supplies, paint, and other materials Welcome children, parents, and guests Assist with guest check-in and make sure required waivers are completed Help host party activities, games, painting projects, and event transitions Support entertainers and help keep children engaged Assist the photographer and event team as needed Help with cake time, handwashing, music, and other party activities Keep the event space organized, clean, and safe Clean and reset tables, floors, supplies, bathrooms, and guest areas before and after events Monitor supplies and let management know when items need to be restocked What We Are Looking For Friendly, patient, positive, and comfortable working with children Able to communicate professionally with parents and guests Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to help wherever needed Available to work weekends, occasional weekdays, and some school holidays Must have your own reliable transportation to and from Oakland Park Comfortable working in an active and messy environment Comfortable standing, moving, bending, cleaning, and carrying event supplies during a shift Authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete a background screening and provide references if requested Experience working with children, birthday parties, camps, schools, art programs, hospitality, customer service, or events is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
