Job Description

Eastpointe Country Club is seeking an experienced Director of Catering & Events to lead all catering sales, event planning, and banquet operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving event revenue, creating exceptional member and guest experiences, and overseeing the successful execution of weddings, golf tournaments, social events, corporate functions, and club-sponsored events. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of catering sales, event planning, and event execution. Serve as the primary contact for members and clients from initial inquiry through event completion. Develop event proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and timelines. Build strong relationships with members, guests, vendors, and community partners. Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution. Recruit, train, schedule, and lead banquet and event staff. Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and event profitability. Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, service, and member satisfaction. Qualifications 5+ years of catering, event management, or hospitality leadership experience. Proven success in event sales, revenue generation, and client relationship management. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in private clubs, hotels, resorts, or upscale hospitality environments preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Experience

• Private club, hospitality, country club, resort or administrative operations experience.

• Event coordination.
