D'Lites is looking for a bubbly, outgoing, and personable Event Staff Member to join our on-call event team! If you love talking to people, creating fun experiences, and serving up delicious treats, this could be a great fit for you. Our event staff help bring the D'Lites experience to life at private events, apartment communities, corporate events, festivals, vendor events, and more.

What You'll Do/Responsibilities:

Travel to local events with the D'Lites dessert cart Set up and break down our dessert cart and event setup Serve ice cream and toppings to guests with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude Interact with customers and help create a fun, welcoming experience Operate our POS system and process customer payments Assist with event preparation, including cart, product, and supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and professional event setup Represent the D'Lites brand at events and vendor activations Work independently and as part of a small event team You're a Great Fit If You're… Bubbly, outgoing, and genuinely love talking to people Friendly, energetic, and comfortable being the face of a brand Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment Reliable, responsible, and able to arrive on time and prepared Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude Comfortable handling a POS system and customer transactions Food service, catering, hospitality, or event experience is required Familiar with D'Lites and our products — definitely a bonus! Comfortable traveling to local events throughout the Tampa area 18 years or older Must be able to pick up/carry 40lbs The Details On-call / part-time event position Events are typically 3-4 hours Looking for someone available for approximately 1-3 events per month Event dates and opportunities will vary, so flexibility and availability are important Great opportunity for someone looking for a fun, flexible side job If you're the type of person who can walk into an event and immediately make people feel welcome, we want to meet you!

Pay:

$24.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 4.0 per week
