Job Description

Overview Event Staff members assist with executing and overseeing guest services and ticket taking and act as a liaison between the event manager/coordinator and the guests for each event. This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 - $14.00.

Responsibilities Provide guests with excellent customer service Prepare the assigned section for guests; this could include wiping down seats, looking for potential hazards, and reporting any issues to a supervisor Assist guests for entry and exit into the complex Scan tickets and greet guests Assist fans in locating seats and access around the complex, and provide answers for any questions when asked Stay alert and proactive to potential hazards and report incidents when they occur Monitor assigned area for issues and opportunities to make an unforgettable experience Respond to all guest concerns/complaints promptly and in a professional manner Assist guests in ADA-accessible seating sections Enforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests Guide the foot traffic flow of large crowds Become knowledgeable about complex emergency evacuation plans in order to safely assist guests during the unlikely event of an emergency Perform other duties or tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferred Must love working with and helping people Ability to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while handling difficult situations Flexible schedule: Availability to work most events Evenings & weekend availability is needed; holidays as needed
