Summary Located in the vibrant Atlanta Metro area, Trilith LIVE is designed to host concerts, rehearsals, live audience productions, conventions, corporate meetings, performing arts, tradeshows, exhibitions, special events, and much more. Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,200-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck. Trilith LIVE is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Events, the Event Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing assigned events at Trilith LIVE including concerts, family shows, religious shows, seminars, corporate shows, and private events. This role involves assisting clients with planning, organizing, and executing events while ensuring a seamless guest experience. The Event Manager will work closely with the Director of Events and internal departments and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, successful events that reflect the mission, vision, and values of Trilith LIVE. Essential Responsibilities Keep the mission, vision, and values of Trilith LIVE at the forefront of decision-making and daily action; build strategic and collaborative relationships and interact with others in a way that builds confidence and trust; provide excellent customer service by taking action to accomplish objectives, maintain high levels of work and productivity by generating innovative solutions to work situations. Meet with and guide clients to plan and organize assigned events; interpret, explain, and implement contract provisions, facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordinate event services, delivery methods, and operational procedures to support successful execution. Clearly communicate event requirements to internal departments for setup, breakdown, production, and support needs. Ensure that all areas of event execution deliver outstanding client and guest experiences. Supervise assigned event staff and vendors during events; provide direction, resolve issues, and maintain a positive, customer-focused environment. Conduct pre and post event building walks to ensure life safety guidelines and building readiness for highest level of guest experience, documenting damages & reporting to the appropriate departments for follow up and billing if necessary. Work with the Box Office with creating on-sale maps according to provided show build details and working through any production changes that impact seating. Assist with reviewing and maintaining accurate event documentation, timelines, and post-event reports. Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with clients for assigned events, addressing requests and concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure all event needs are met. Support event budgeting by assisting with cost estimates, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate billing. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes, communication, and efficiency. Prepare and share event progress reports as needed. Work irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event activity. Perform other duties as assigned in support of Trilith LIVE operations. Supervisory Responsibilities May supervise event staff, part-time employees, and vendors during assigned events, including task assignment, performance guidance, and issue resolution. Escalates performance or disciplinary matters to the Director of Events. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education. Minimum 2-3 years of event management or event coordination experience in a venue, performing arts, convention center, or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of event operations, including setup, event production, and vendor coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event management software and floor plan diagramming tools such as AutoCAD LT preferred but not required. Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and customer-service orientation. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required. Physical Demands / Work Environment While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl to access operational systems; use hands and fingers with dexterity; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
