Woodlands Coffee Roasters & Cafe is a local, family-owned, casual, upscale restaurant with a rustic, Tuscan, aesthetically rich, warm atmosphere! The culture is wholesome and embracing. WHY..." - Woodlands Coffee Roasters & Cafe is a "City On A Hill" for our Middle Georgia community and HOPE for the youth ("Mighty Warriors") at Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras, the former home of our beloved son, Henson, who we adopted 9 years ago. (He now has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Mercer University and is working on his Masters!!) He is also our assistant Front of House Manager. Henson & our family are reaching back into the lives of the other hundreds of kids we could not adopt and providing them a path to freedom; the priceless opportunity to rise from the ashes, and break the chains of generational poverty through "The Orphanage Coffee Project!" It's very important that each Team member understands the "WHY" behind our "WHAT!" "
THE ORPHANAGE COFFEE PROJECT
" - Through the compassionate & selfless heart & help of a local pastor & coffee farmer in Honduras, Pastor Donaldo Acosta (AKA - "Mr. Miyagi"), who lives about 30 minutes from Henson's Orphanage, we designed & developed "The Orphanage Coffee Project!!" We lead large teams of people to Henson's orphanage each year to plant thousands of our Woodlands coffee plants the orphanage! "The Orphanage Coffee Project" is creating education, training, & career opportunities for the age-appropriate youth at Orphanage Emmanuel. They are learning a valuable trade that will give them the tools to support themselves and their families! It's teaching them to DREAM... creating them a FUTURE... & providing them HOPE!!

Leadership skills - able to graciously and kindly lead and direct a team of people Understands "traffic flow" of an event and can stage accordingly Has an "eye" for design and staging of event Has meticulous attention to detail Keep catering storage facility organized Maintains a high standard of excellence in conduct, performance, client relations, & teamwork Building checklists for events Loading and unloading catering van for various events Team player Must be a "life-breather" (energy-giver) not a "vacuum cleaner" (energy-sucker)!!! You will receive your hourly wage plus shared compensation from gratuity and tips. The more your hustle and work, the more you make! We LOVE our team members and treat them as family!
Pay:
