Job Description

This position is responsible for coordinating rentals, events, and programming support service activities at the Riverdale Town Center. This position will provide a high-level administrative support, event support and perform clerical duties for the Town Center and Center Director. Work schedule is based on the Centre needs.
Major Duties:
Update weekly schedules, Recpro rentals and space use with Center staff both before and after events. Assist with events scheduled at each facility. Creates and Distributes information of event times, type of event, and any specific information requested for the event. Serves as monitor for the event. Understand and correctly interpret the fees, rules and regulations that govern each facility to ensure its proper use. Manages reviews of event programming to confirm all services and necessary preparations are addressed. Manage the client service deliverables with catering, audio-visual concessionaires, security, and other contracted service vendors. Manages the maintenance of financial records, including revenue and fees generated by programs, program operational costs, facility revenue and expense schedules, budget projections, and analyses. Communicates with prospective clients and vendors concerning facility rules and regulations and preferred vendor information. Manage and review preparation of event and program files, announcements, flyers, informational bulletins, news releases, and other marketing materials for City sponsored events and facilities. Perform related work as required. Qualifications Associate degree and three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, communication, or related field, and one (1) year experience coordinating special events; Intermediate to advanced experience / knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job; valid State of Georgia Driver's License.
