Part-time (Approx. 24-28 hours/week) About Queens Waikiki Luau Queens Waikiki Luau is a top-rated cultural dinner show located in the heart of Waikiki at the International Market Place. We celebrate Hawaiian and Polynesian heritage through storytelling, live entertainment, and island-inspired cuisine. We are seeking energetic and dependable Event Staff to help bring our luau to life. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences while supporting the smooth operation of each show. About the Role Event Team Members assist with all aspects of luau operations, from setup and guest service to cleanup and behind-the-scenes support. This is a hands-on role in a lively environment where teamwork and a positive attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities Set up and break down tables, chairs, and event equipment. Assist with sound equipment (no prior experience required). Welcome and assist guests with aloha spirit. Support buffet-style food service. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event, including trash removal. Monitor and report safety or guest concerns as needed. Step in where needed to keep the show running smoothly. Arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance. Qualifications Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds. At least 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Strong teamwork, organization, and self-motivation. Friendly, professional demeanor with cultural sensitivity. Comfortable working outdoors in a lively, fast-paced environment. Important A background check is required for this position. A Food Handler's Certificate must also be obtained after hire.
