Full Job Description Oak View Group:
Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.
Position Summary:
The Manager, Premium Seating, will be responsible for generating revenue from local, regional, and national companies through the sale of premium seating at Casey's Center. This position will work as part of the sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Partnerships. The Manager, Premium Seating's primary focus is the sales and client service for premium seating at Casey's Center, including luxury suites, loge boxes, club seats, and hospitality packages. This role pays a base salary of $50,000 to $60,000 and is commission eligible.

Venue:
The Iowa Events Center is Iowa's home for live entertainment. Anchored by Casey's Center , a 17,000-seat arena, the arena has been a consistent top 100 concert facility as ranked by Pollstar Magazine. The venue is home to the AHL's Iowa Wild, the G-League's Iowa Wolves, and the IFL's Iowa Barnstormers. Casey's Center also hosts the Iowa High School State Wrestling and Girls and Boys Basketball Tournaments each year and hosts several major concerts, family shows, and sporting events throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Director of Partnerships and VP of OVG Global Partnerships to develop a strategic plan to drive premium seating revenue for the venue. Responsible for establishing new business relationships to achieve annual revenue goals while servicing existing premium seating clients. Conduct cold calls as a way of securing appointments to sell to new prospects Assist in the creation and development of sales presentation materials. Support and work closely with regional management and on-site local management. Effectively present proposals in front of individuals and large groups. Leverage your passion and empathy to develop a long-term business relationship between your client and the venues. Relentlessly prospect new business weekly to set meetings with qualified prospects, fill the pipeline, and advance business relationships quickly and efficiently. Communicate well across all areas of the company, including legal, accounting, marketing, community relations, and ticket operations. Work closely with the Event Services, Marketing, and Partnership teams to ensure that current clients receive superior service and fulfillment of each contract. Training of event staff for Premium Seating functions as well as assisting event staff as it relates to premium seating. Create premium packages as they relate to special events and concerts. Responsible for reporting and tracking premium seating inventory. Develops sales action plans and tracking inventory to ensure hitting budget goals Prospect, sell, cultivate, and maintain new and existing corporate clients for the venues Facilitate the execution of all aspects of servicing for premium seating clientele Participate in servicing premium customers through various means, including direct contact, newsletters, networking gatherings, etc. Work and attend events, promotions, and OVG events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent training & experience. 3-5 years of professional sponsorship experience in a high-performance sales environment; sports, entertainment, and/or arena industry experience preferred. Must be self-motivated and dynamic with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have strong strategic thinking and planning skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) experience is a plus. Experience with Salesforce/KORE (CRM) as well as Paciolan or other ticketing providers is preferred Strong professional relationship skills; ability to establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with corporate clients and co-workers. Must possess problem-solving capabilities to address and resolve issues that face a growing enterprise. A strong and effective negotiator, comfortable in both complex negotiations and dynamic business situations. Must produce results and be bottom-line oriented while possessing empathy towards people and their values. Professional appearance, attitude, and the ability to work well with others are required. Comfortable managing tight deadlines and meeting aggressive sales goals and expectations. Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
