Job Description

About the Role We're an established, well-reviewed event venue looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Event Manager to plan and run weddings, social celebrations, and corporate events. You'll guide clients from their first tour through the final send-off, coordinating vendors, timelines, and on-site staff so every event runs smoothly. We're a close-knit team, and we want someone who stays calm under pressure and brings warm energy to every client interaction. What You'll Do Be the main point of contact for clients from inquiry through final walkthrough Give venue tours and guide clients through booking and contracts Build event timelines, floor plans, run-of-show documents, and staffing schedules Coordinate caterers, florists, rentals, DJs, and other vendors Run events on-site, overseeing setup, service, and breakdown Keep the venue clean, well-maintained, and event-ready Manage the events calendar and keep each event on budget Ensure compliance with safety, fire code, and alcohol service regulations What You Bring 3-5+ years in event planning, venue management, or hospitality Experience running weddings, social events, or corporate functions Strong organization and vendor negotiation skills Calm, warm communication, especially in high-emotion moments Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and booking software (e.g., Perfect Venue, HoneyBook) Availability for regular evenings and weekends Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and décor Nice to Have Degree in Hospitality or Event Management Wedding venue experience TIPS or alcohol service certification Growth We're expanding and promote from within.
