About the Role Lost Grove Brewing is looking for an organized, outgoing, and sales-driven Events & Partnerships Director to lead and grow the catering and events branch of our business. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with people, is highly organized, detail oriented, a strong communicator, and knows how to turn an inquiry into a booked event. You'll be the primary point of contact for catering clients and event guests—from the first conversation through the successful completion of the event. This is not just an administrative position. We're looking for someone who is excited to build relationships, actively generate new business, increase event and catering sales, and create an outstanding guest experience. The position reports to our Food & Beverage Director, and works Wednesday through Sunday , allowing the Director to be present during our busiest event days and weekends. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming catering, private events, and group reservation inquiries. Manage scheduling & staffing for events. Respond quickly and professionally to prospective clients. Acquire and maintain proper permits for events and catering Sell Lost Grove's catering and event services and convert inquiries into booked business. Actively develop new catering and event business through outreach and relationship building. Maintain existing and build new relationships with local businesses, offices, event planners, wedding professionals, nonprofits, hotels, venues, and community organizations. This includes coordinating our Powerful Pints program and donation requests Conduct site visits, client meetings, and event consultations. Create proposals, quotes, event details, menus, and contracts. Maintain an organized calendar, BEOs, and sales pipeline for all upcoming events and catering orders. Coordinate event details with Lost Grove's kitchen, management (including marketing), bar, and service teams. Communicate event expectations clearly to the operating team. Oversee or assist with execution of larger and higher-profile events. Follow up with clients after events to build repeat business and referrals. Identify opportunities to increase catering revenue, private events, corporate business, and off-site events. Maintain accurate client information, event details, deposits, payments, and sales records. Track catering and event sales and provide regular updates on leads, bookings, revenue, and upcoming opportunities. Represent Lost Grove professionally and enthusiastically in the Boise community. What We're Looking For The right person for this role is: Proven to be highly organized and comfortable/successful at managing many events and conversations at once. Friendly, personable, and welcoming with clients and guests. A strong communicator in-person, over the phone, and through email. Comfortable selling and pursuing business leads. Self-motivated and able to generate opportunity. Detail-oriented and reliable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced brewery, restaurant, and event environment. Able to work collaboratively with kitchen, service, bar, and management teams. Able to solve problems quickly and professionally. Comfortable working a Wednesday-Sunday schedule , including evenings and weekends when events require it. Previous experience in catering, event sales, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, event planning, or a related sales position is preferred.
Compensation This position will include:
Base Salary ($55,000) Commission PTO - Starting at 12 days Health insurance The base salary provides stability while the commission structure rewards growth in catering and event sales. The goal is to create meaningful earning potential for someone who can build Lost Grove's catering and events business.
