JOB SUMMARY
The Party Coordinator is responsible for coordinating birthday parties and private Splash rentals at Park Center from initial planning and booking through event execution. This role involves enthusiastically communicating directly with families to discuss party options and themes, booking events, scheduling staff, and ensuring all weekend birthday parties and private rentals run smoothly. The Party Coordinator will help create a fun, organized, and memorable experience for every guest while providing excellent customer service throughout the process. The Party Coordinator is responsible to perform the following essential functions including, but not limited to: Follow up with inquiries from families regarding party options (both pick-a-parties and Splash pool parties) Provide interested patrons with instructions on how to book parties online and create household account Assist patrons with booking party rentals, book rental room in system, and schedule party staff Creates charge out forms and receive additional payments from parties using extra time or having extra people over the allotted limit Communicates with contractors for party booking Oversees all weekend parties and private rentals, including party staff Works with Supervisor when crafts and game materials need to be ordered for themed parties Ensures party rooms are cleaned after parties by patrons Confirms party schedule with supervisorQUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of prior experience working with children and adults. Outstanding customer service skills, including active listening to customer needs. Demonstrated ability to respond to phone calls and emails with a sense of urgency. Excellent communication skills and utilizing technology (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams).PAY & SCHEDULING
Year-round, part-time position. Consistent weekend availability is an essential requirement.Weekend availability required:
Must be available to work most weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday), typically between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional later hours.Weekday availability required:
Must be available to work 2-3 days per week (Monday-Friday), approximately 3 hours per day.BENEFITS WE OFFER
