Job Description

We are hiring professional, outgoing, and dependable event staff for the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club. Guest Transportation Attendants will welcome event guests, assist with shuttle-bus operations, provide directions, organize passenger lines, and help create a safe and professional arrival and departure experience.

Pay:
$15-$18 per hour based on availability and assignment Shift length: Approximately 8-10 hours per scheduled day Job type: Temporary event position Work location: In person Applicants with full availability for September 22-27 will receive priority consideration and may qualify for the highest hourly rate. Shifts 7:00 AM-5:00 PM 9:00 AM-6:00 PM 10:00 AM-7:00 PM Shift times are currently estimated and may change based on event transportation needs. Early-morning availability may be required. Final schedules and reporting locations will be provided before the event. Responsibilities Welcome and professionally assist event guests Help load and unload shuttle buses Direct guests to the correct transportation areas Maintain safe and organized passenger lines Answer basic event and transportation questions Monitor guest flow and communicate transportation needs Report delays, incidents, and guest concerns to supervisors Remain attentive and at your assigned post Follow all uniform, attendance, communication, and safety requirements Complete additional guest-service duties as assigned Qualifications Strong communication and customer-service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Dependable transportation Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods Ability to work approximately 8-10 hours per day Ability to work early mornings and staggered schedules Reliable attendance and timely communication Ability to remain professional in a busy event environment Willingness to limit personal phone use while working Previous hospitality, event, transportation, retail, brand ambassador, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. Availability and Attendance Applicants must provide their availability for each day from September 22 through September 27. Preference will be given to applicants available for all six days. Team members are expected to complete every shift they accept. Missing a shift, arriving late without communication, or failing to respond to management may result in removal from the remaining event schedule. Required Training Selected team members must complete a required training session before the event. The training date and location will be provided to selected applicants. Payment Your approved hourly rate will be communicated before scheduling and will be based on availability and assignment. Payment will be issued by company check on the final day of the event. Employees must accurately clock in and out and complete all required employment and payroll documentation. Employees who do not complete the full event schedule will still be paid for verified hours worked, but payment may be processed separately through the company's regular payroll timeline. Event Location Medinah Country Club 6N001 Medinah Road Medinah, IL 60157 Final parking, shuttle, and employee check-in instructions may use a different nearby reporting location.
