Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part Time Events Manager/Project Manager to lead and coordinate a variety of events and projects with enthusiasm and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage events and build client relationships in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring each event is executed flawlessly, from the wearhouse back-end to event day delivering memorable experiences while managing budgets, contracts, and client and team communications effectively. This position is perfect for someone eager to make an impact in the events industry while enjoying flexible part-time hours. Candidate should have weekday availability 5-15 hours per week between 9-3 Candidate should have flexible weekend availability 5-10 hours per week Responsibilities Lead the planning, organization, and execution of events from conception through completion, ensuring all details align with client expectations and company standards. Assist with event production including but not limited to: painting, floras design, balloon inflation, graphic design, cutting vinyl design, cutting foam board, creating favors, ironing linens, etc. Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to secure services, negotiate contracts, and manage event logistics efficiently. Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, controlling costs, and upselling additional services to maximize revenue opportunities. Manage employee schedules and event logistics Oversee onsite event operations including setup, guest services, hospitality arrangements, and technical requirements to ensure smooth execution. Develop marketing strategies for events by leveraging event marketing techniques to attract attendees and promote brand visibility. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Lead and motivate team members or vendors involved in the event to ensure high-quality performance and teamwork. Maintain detailed documentation of contracts, budgets, schedules, and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality or events industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with event marketing strategies and tools to promote events effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to manage budgets accurately while balancing quality service delivery. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in banquet or hospitality settings is advantageous; knowledge of guest services and customer satisfaction is essential. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
