Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Catering & Event Manager to oversee the execution of various events. The ideal candidate we are looking for is highly organized, comfortable with customers, good with numbers & computers and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and comfortable making decisions. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish. Office work is required, answering phones & emails, prepare proposals/ contracts and update guest counts, maintain event calender and client files and confirm final details with client. Responsibilities Coordinate, and execute events such as banquets, corporate meetings, weddings, and other special occasions. Administrative/office work will be required. Oversee on-site event operations to ensure everything runs according to plan. Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after events to ensure client satisfaction. Work closely with staff to deliver seamless service during events. Requirements Some experience in event planning or management. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, vendors & staff. Knowledge of banquet services, catering options, and hospitality standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by events. A proactive attitude with problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges during events.
