Job Description

The position directs and oversees the development and organization of extracurricular and co-curricular activities to the Studentpopulation of Lindsey Wilson. Promotes student morale, collaborates with other offices, and works with community agencies as well as campusclubs and organizations, often working closely with visiting groups on campus. In keeping with Lindsey Wilson's Mission, Student Activitiesoffers opportunities for students to grow and develop every day through events and activities. The duties and responsibilities forthis position include the following. Develop and implement extracurricular and co-curricular activities for the studentpopulation of Lindsey Wilson Coordinates events, meetings, conferences, summer camps, and weddings, including but not limited toOpening Weekend, Malvina Farkle Day, Parents Weekend, Homecoming, and Spring Formal. Budget manager of the Student Activitiesaccounts Other duties as assigned. Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual shoulddemonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. Experience working with peoplefrom different demographics and socioeconomic backgrounds Excellent event/activities planner Organizational andadministrative skills Excellent verbal and written skills Attention to detail Frugal and smartpurchaser Improvise at a moments notice Technology Proficiency The position requires an individual to beproficient with the following technology. Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications Proficient with G SuiteApplications General proficiency with Canva and other creative software Education and Experience The positionrequires the minimum amount of education, field of study or area of training, specific skills, and/or experience listed below. Bachelor's Degree required Preferred event planning experience Supervisory Responsibility The positionsupervises the positions listed below.
