Job Description
Description Looking for a fun, temporary fall job? Join the Wilson Farm Events Team and help us create a great experience for customers visiting the farm during one of our busiest and most festive times of year! We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and dependable individuals to assist with our annual Pumpkin Village & fall events throughout October. There is also potential for assisting with our late fall and holiday season events! Schedule This is a part-time seasonal position with shifts scheduled on: Saturdays and Sundays throughout October, approximately 10:30am-5pm, as well as: Indigenous Peoples' Day
- Monday, October 12 approximately 10:30am-5pm Friday, October 16
- approximately 12:00-5:00 PM Friday, October 23
- approximately 12:00-5:00 PM Friday, October 30
- approximately 12:00-5:00 PM Applicants should have strong availability for the dates above. What You'll Do Event Staff help keep our fall activities running safely, smoothly, and
- most importantly
- fun for our customers.
Responsibilities may include:
Welcoming and assisting customers and families Helping with our annual Pumpkin Village and other fall activities Monitoring guest flow, lines, and activity areas Providing directions and answering customer questions Assisting with setup, cleanup, and general event needs Operating or assisting with select attractions, including our popular potato blaster If you're dependable, enjoy working with people, and want to spend your October helping make fall at Wilson Farm a great experience for our customers, we'd love to hear from you! Requirements What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old Reliable and dependable, particularly for scheduled weekend shifts Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers of all ages Strong communication and customer service skills Positive, calm, and helpful attitude in a busy environment Previous event, attraction, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required Working Outdoors This position is primarily outdoors, so applicants should be comfortable working in typical New England fall weather. The role requires prolonged standing and walking, as well as frequent bending, reaching, and navigating stairs or uneven outdoor areas.
