Job Description
Job Overview Hip design-focused catering company looking for a full-time event coordinator to join our team! Our brand is modern, fun, and always pushing the envelope! Our catering hub is located in Owings Mills, MD and we cater all over Baltimore, Surrounding Counties, DC, etc. Here is what we are looking for: Someone who is energetic, outgoing, focused, and very detail-oriented. Great organizational skills, super-dependable, a team player, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Client, Venue, and Vendor Partner Email Correspondence and Coorindation
- Client Relations
- calls, proposals, linen/rental orders, site
- visits/walkthroughs, etc.
- Running Events
- overseeing event set-up, timeline, and breakdown
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, staff, etc.)
- Do final checks at the day of the events (i.e tables, uniforms) to ensure everything meets standards
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
- Evaluate event's success and submit reports
- Act as the POC for the client/host on the event day
- Assistance in planning in-house parties and events
- Assistance with social media
- Misc Office Management
- Execute Client Tastings with
Chef Experience:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient with Apple Products
- Excellent vendor management skills
- Outstanding communication
- Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
- Able to handle stress and remain calm
- Problem-solving ability
- Degree in hospitality management, public relations, or relevant field is preferred but not required Ability to work evenings and weekends when tasting or events are scheduled.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$36,000.00- $50,000.
