Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Membership & Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of engaging events and membership initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster community engagement, enhance member experiences, and drive revenue growth through innovative event marketing and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and a knack for building lasting relationships with members and vendors alike. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing strategies to promote upcoming events and membership programs. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering arrangements, contracts, and logistics management. Manage membership engagement initiatives to increase retention, upselling opportunities, and overall satisfaction. Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. Provide exceptional guest services during events by ensuring smooth operations, addressing attendee needs promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Monitor budgets for events and membership campaigns, ensuring cost-effective execution while maximizing impact. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and utilize various channels to boost event attendance and membership growth. Requirements Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous contracts with vendors and venues. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, vendors, members, and guests. Demonstrated ability in upselling memberships or event packages to maximize revenue opportunities. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Experience in budgeting for large-scale events and managing expenses efficiently. Familiarity with fundraising activities or community engagement initiatives is a plus.
