Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Summary:
The Philanthropy Engagement Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all broad-spectrum prospects, donor engagement and event communications to increase and retain philanthropic support to North Kansas City Hospital. Specifically, this position, in partnership with an outside engagement vendor, is responsible for setting the departments overall strategy in conjunction with the senior leadership of the department with the goal of improving prospect acquisition, donor retention and strengthening the overall affinity towards North Kansas City Hospital. As a part of the overall annual giving program, this position will also have an oversight of the annual employee giving campaign, signature event and other recognition events.EXPERIENCE
A minimum of five years experience in event management or annual giving campaigns and appeals. Donor CRM experience (Raiser's Edge, Sales Force etc)SPECIAL SKILLS
Excellent oral and written communication skills Highly motivated and well organized. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Excellent research, follow-through, analytical problem-solving and presentation skills.OTHER:
Strong commitment to the mission, vision and values of NKC Health. Experience in a team-based cross functional work environment. Ability to adhere to all HIPPA regulations and donor confidentiality requirements.EDUCATION
