Job Description
USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The All New England Band Festival Coordinator plans the event and coordinates with all parties involved, including the Silver Center staff, the School of Integrated Liberal Arts, the School of Education, and participating schools. This is an hourly staff position. Duties/Responsibilities The All New England Band Festival Coordinator is responsible for inviting a guest conductor and obtaining approval for the conductor fee by the School administrative staff. Contract information needs to be provided to the School at least 1 month prior to the event. Draft a proposed event budget for approval by the School administrative staff. Facilitate event needs with the Silver Center Director and Silver Center Events Coordinator. Communicate set up needs and event parking at least 3 weeks prior to event. Provide a list (with links) of music needed for event. Scan in parts for bands to send to each participant. Oversee student band fellows and music education students assisting with event. Enter hours worked weekly. Manage registration of participating schools and relay invoice information to School administrative staff.
