Job Description
Sol Impact Inc. is hiring an Event Assistant to support live outreach events and promotional campaigns for a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This Event Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to build hands-on marketing experience while helping a mission-driven brand connect with local communities. As an Event Assistant, you'll represent the nonprofit brand at community events, welcome attendees, answer questions, and help create engaging experiences that increase awareness of the organization's mission. Every Event Assistant receives hands-on training while developing event coordination, communication, and brand marketing experience. Responsibilities of the Event Assistant Represent the nonprofit brand during community events and outreach campaigns. Welcome attendees and share information about the organization's mission. Assist with event setup, breakdown, and day-of event activities. Support outreach efforts that strengthen local brand awareness. Help create organized, engaging experiences for attendees. Collaborate with fellow Event Assistant team members during community events. Participate in Event Assistant coaching focused on outreach, events, and brand promotion. Continue building event coordination, communication, and brand marketing skills. Qualifications of the Event Assistant Interested in community outreach, events, or marketing. Comfortable interacting with people in fast-paced environments. Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Communicates clearly and professionally. Previous customer-facing experience is helpful but not required. Motivated to grow as an Event Assistant while representing a respected nonprofit brand.
