Room 40 Manager | Events, Parties & Catering Wingnutz Buffalo 4600 Genesee St., Cheektowaga, NY 14225 Wingnutz Buffalo is looking for a reliable, organized, and personable Room 40 Manager to help oversee our events, private parties, and catering business. This is a hands-on position that includes coordinating and working events, communicating with customers, handling basic administrative work, and helping make sure each event or catering order runs smoothly from start to finish. Room 40 hosts everything from birthdays and corporate events to sports banquets, showers, holiday parties, and larger functions. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee Room 40 events and private parties Communicate with customers regarding event details and needs Coordinate with kitchen, serving, and bar staff Help organize and execute catering orders Set up and prepare event spaces as needed Serve food and beverages and assist during events Make sure events run smoothly and guests receive great service Handle basic Room 40 administrative work, including event details, scheduling, customer communication, and organization Maintain knowledge of our food, beverage, and event packages Help keep event areas clean, organized, and properly stocked Assist with Room 40 supplies and equipment Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards Help improve and grow our events, parties, and catering business Qualifications Prior restaurant, serving, banquet, catering, or event experience is preferred. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, good with people, able to multitask, and comfortable taking responsibility for events. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Compensation Event/Serving Work:

$10.70/hour plus tips

Administrative Work:

$20/hour Additional serving shifts at Wingnutz Buffalo may also be available. There is also opportunity for growth within Room 40. As the events, parties, and catering business continues to grow, we plan to develop a commission-based structure that can provide additional earning opportunities based on sales and growth.
